Sip & Melt
My parents, originally from Colombia, lived in Switzerland for several years before I was born. During that time, they fell in love with the country’s culinary traditions, most notably raclette. When they returned to Colombia, they carried this tradition with them, making it an essential part of our family gatherings. Over time, raclette became more than just a meal; it was an experience that allowed us to slow down, connect, and create lasting memories around the table.
This fusion of cultures shaped my understanding of food as more than sustenance. It became a medium for storytelling, tradition, and community. This project is a personal exploration of those cultural connections and evolving tastes.
The visual identity incorporates a warm yellow color palette with classic accents, evoking the vibrant raclette and wine bar, where every cell and bite tells a story worth sharing. Linear elements such as the continuous, flowing lines on the logo evoke a sense of gentle movement, capturing the relaxed rhythm of slowing down, savoring a moment, and leaning into leisure. The combination of yellow and soft beige tones evokes comfort and relaxation, balancing visual charm with approachability while avoiding harsh contrasts or distractions, bringing the concept to life while creating a dynamic and memorable experience.
